Excellent looks and quality. If you don’t like a very stiff but comfortable hat that keeps it’s shape and should last a life time if properly cared for it’s not for you. I love it.

Distressed/burnt fedora. Stiff construction built for a lifetime. Looks cool. Worth the money.
Other than lost time by having to return the first hat die to the over sized issue. Smaller size came a week or so later and fits good.
Quality and looks are good too
The hat seems to be a good quality and is made well. No issues with the quality. The coloring on the other hand is something different. I play guitar with an LGBTQ positive band and in the pictures it look like the colors were very pride oriented, so I purchased one of these in order to wear it at our Pride fundraiser. When I got it, it was very different than the pictures. There were less pinks and more reds the blue is still blue and the outer edge of the brim looked like it faded out, but it was just a stark stop of color and I just went to the gray felt, needless to say I did not wind up wearing it for my fundraiser. I’m gonna have to have an artist friend of mine redo it.

This was a great purchase. I bought a portable steamer knowing the hat would come stiff. It didn't fit hardly at all with the shape it was it. I steamed it once and was able to fit it perfectly to my head shape. I shaped the brim to look more like a Jonny Ringo or Doc Holiday hat with a little flare up in the front. I even added a leather and horsehair stampede strap to make it look even cooler. This is now my favorite hat!!
Great looking hat! Fits good with just about any dressy, casual look. would highly recommend.
I ordered this Eclipse hat in "XL", it was too large even with the reducers. Ruediger Hats was helpful with the return process, and even made some nice concessions, I had it changed for the "L" size, which is a snug fit, but it should slightly stretch out. . I really like this hat and intend to do some of my own modifications, perhaps change out the wood element for one of my own choosing. Pictures to come.

Superb open road style hat. I can't compare it to the Stetson, they have distressed one but it seems to sold out Everytime I am ready to order. Thank you Ruediger, I don't want to take it off. Gents if you don't like attention and positive comments, don't buy this hat. Perfect fit meaning size is correct still breaking it in. Stiff brim and crown. No floppy hat here. Thanks again Ruediger. Now I need open road straw hat from Ruediger for the summer months.
I thought my fedora was a pair of boots I ordered that's how well boxed and packaged it was. So so pleasantly surprised of how it looks in person. The construction, feel, appearance-AMAZING. The quality.... well beyond what I could imagine, FANTASTIC Great job Ruediger. Rock rock on!!!

I had purchased a hat , and happy to get pretty quickly. The communication was good on shipping time. It arrived in a box in good condition , except there was no plastic covering to keep it clean from dust or dirt. I also didn’t receive the 2 free hat reducers that supposed to have have come with my purchase that was stated in the description, but probably ok because the hat size is a bit small and I’ll have to stretch it out a bit anyways to get the perfect fit. Overall very happy with my purchase and look forward to other purchases.

Absolutely love this hat. Very well made solid feels great on the head. I have two Open Roads and a Whippet and I find myself grabbing this hat all the time.
I am a smaller guy and the narrower brim and shorter crown really work for me. I just wish you offered other colors with the same dimensions I would buy all of them

Love the hat.. good quality, however the shipping quality could be better. The hat box was torn and a bit flimsy but overall the hat was not damaged.
